Jiangsu: 普通家庭如何培养出牛津学子
Thomas Chan and Teresa Lee, authors of popular parenting book series A+ Parents (A+父母) from Hong Kong recently spoke to groups of parents and educators in Jiangsu Province, China to share their secrets in raising three successful children. Thomas and Teresa have been emphasizing on the importance for children to establish Eight "SELF": self-esteem, self-confidence, self-love, self-reliance, self-sufficiency, self-determination, self-reflection and self-discipline. To them, effective and positive discipline is about guiding children instead of just forcing them to obey.
